As a Futurist and Strategic Knowledge Leader, Brian assists clients & students in his everyday work as a Business Consultant, Executive Coach, & Lecturer, to anticipate and visualise the current and future opportunities and threats that are constantly evolving through the utilisation of IDT, the blockchain and AI. His approach to advancing technologies is not only in software, but also in practical applications such as the augmentation of battery technology. As a former CEO with over 30 years’ experience in international business, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to any organisation that he works with, or students that he lectures. He was instrumental in developing a full-time Diploma Course in Entrepreneurship at a University of Technology. His international business experience spans into many countries including the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Hong Kong, USA, Belgium, Spain, China, Australia, Ireland, Germany, and more.
Brian has served as a non-executive director and chairman of several private and state-owned companies. His experience as a non-executive director of a large not-for-profit electrical and battery recycling organisation greatly enhanced his knowledge of ethics. This caused him to base his Executive MBA Thesis on battery recycling in an attempt to educate the peoples of the world on the health benefits and ethics associated with ensuring batteries are recycled. He has made presentations to high ranking Government and EU officials, and leading CEO’s that are captains of industry in relation to recycling.
Brian’s passion lays in edifying organisations how to achieve success ethically and profitably through their people, their culture, their decisions, their governance, whilst encompassing all areas of business. He practices the principles of Kaizen. He is strategic and very visionary in providing assistance to senior and middle management in how to turn ‘good’ organisations ‘great’ organisations through their people, ethics, and culture.
