Entry Requirements

  • The following documentation must be submitted within 10 days of applying to LIC via CAO:

    A certified true copy of official transcripts of academic results.

    A certified English translation of qualifications not issued initially in English, along with certified copies of the documents.

    In some cases, the final school report may also be required.

    Proof of proficiency in the English language if not demonstrated through school-leaving qualifications.

    Failure to provide these documents and translations will result in the non-processing of the application.

    If you accept a place in LIC, original documents will be required at registration. Offers of places are provisional until all registration formalities have been completed within the college.

  • EU applicants must meet equivalent minimum entry requirements as Irish school leavers. Admission is competitive due to a high volume of applicants compared to available places, assessed through a points system. A-level applicants are directed to a separate page for specific details.
