Jessie Engelhart
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Jessie graduated from Tilburg Law School back in 2016 and continued her legal education in Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Barcelona. Having passed the Spanish bar exam in 2019, she is qualified to represent her client’s legal interests before Spanish courts and international tribunals.
Her interest in Sports, football in particular, led her to pursue studies in the field of Sports Law and Management. She has gained significant experience and established a wide network of contacts in the Sports industry throughout her professional trajectory at different international law firms, FC Barcelona, and UEFA.
Having worked in Strategy & Innovation for key stakeholders FC Barcelona and UEFA, she has seen the challenges and opportunities that arise while attempting to foster a culture of innovation within more risk-adverse environments first-hand.
In 2020, she decided to combine her passions for Sports, Law, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and founded Sensato Sports Law; a boutique sports-law firm based in Barcelona, through which she applies all acquired knowledge and skills to assists her clients from both a legal and business perspective.
In addition, Jessie is a stakeholder in several other businesses from real estate to medical health services and serves as a (guest) lecturer and programme director at a range of different international private universities.
