Luna Orofiamma

Luna is a researcher in lean management with a specific interest in agriculture. Her current research focuses on how lean management systems can improve the overall profitability and sustainability of the business of farming.
Luna has worked in various roles across the retail, agricultural and financial sector, where she has developed a keen interest in lean systems, and has implemented various process improvement and cost saving projects across these industries.

Key areas of lean in which Luna focuses on are employee development, inventory management and process improvement. Her greatest achievement was in the retail sector focussing on inventory management, to achieve a quarterly saving of €24,000.

Luna is a part-time sheep farmer, breeding Suffolk ewes and focussed on improving farming processes within her own herd, in order to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
